The number four is a sacred number, associated with the earthly: four seasons, four elements et cetera. Here we see four panels in a blue list. Three of them are made out of pressed wood and one of them has two planks up to the middle of the frame. Usually, pressed wood makes me think of pointillism, but here it also refers to the pixelated images of the internet. In the 90’s pictures on the internet would load from grainy to sharp or they would just stop loading half way. Blue borders around images would indicate a hyperlink to a different world. This work is located by an old factory in the city in which I grew up and which I left when I was 17. It is about expectations and endless recurrence.
